JOUR 1 : DE MARRAKECH À LA VALLÉE DU DADES
Depart from Marrakech and journey through the majestic High Atlas Mountains via the winding Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Along the way, stop at the historic ksar of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a remarkable example of southern Moroccan earthen architecture. Continue through Ouarzazate, the “Gateway to the Sahara,” before arriving in the lush Dades Valley. Enjoy an overnight stay amidst breathtaking rock formations and mountain scenery.
JOUR 2 : DE LA VALLÉE DU DADES À MERZOUGA
After breakfast, travel through the dramatic landscapes of the Todra Gorge, where sheer cliffs rise up to 300 meters, offering stunning natural views. Continue on to Erfoud, a town renowned for its fossil-rich terrain and lively market. Upon reaching Merzouga, mount a camel and trek across the golden Erg Chebbi dunes as the sun sets over the Sahara. Spend the night at a traditional desert camp, where you’ll experience Berber hospitality with music, local cuisine, and stargazing under the open desert sky.
DAY 3: MERZOUGA TO FES
Wake early to witness a tranquil desert sunrise before departing Merzouga. Drive through the verdant Ziz Valley, known for its palm groves and ancient kasbahs. As you ascend the Middle Atlas Mountains, pass through cedar forests and charming towns such as Midelt and Azrou. Make a brief stop in Ifrane, often called “Little Switzerland” for its alpine-inspired architecture, before arriving in Fes in the evening for a restful overnight stay.
DAY 4: EXPLORING FES
Spend the day exploring Fes, Morocco’s oldest imperial city and a center of culture and learning. Navigate the labyrinthine streets of the UNESCO-listed medina, visit the historic Al-Qarawiyyin University—considered the oldest existing university in the world—and observe traditional tanneries and artisan workshops. Immerse yourself in the city’s deep-rooted traditions, architectural splendor, and vibrant souks.
DAY 5: FES TO CASABLANCA
Depart Fes and head toward Casablanca, Morocco’s economic capital. Travel through the rolling landscapes of the Middle Atlas region, taking in views of fertile plains and forested hills. Upon arrival in Casablanca, visit the majestic Hassan II Mosque—one of the largest mosques in the world—famous for its exquisite craftsmanship and stunning location on the Atlantic Ocean.
DAY 6: CASABLANCA TO MARRAKECH
Start the day with a relaxed stroll along Casablanca’s Corniche or explore the city’s colorful markets. Later, return to Marrakech, where your tour concludes. Take time to reflect on the diverse experiences and lasting memories collected throughout this unforgettable Moroccan journey.
