This mountain pass offers stunning panoramic views. The first major stop is at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, a historic fortified village along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech. Due to its ancient charm, it has served as the backdrop for many famous films.
The tour continues through the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing lush oases and traditional Berber villages. You’ll spend the night in a hotel in the beautiful Dades Valley, known for its dramatic rock formations.

Day 2: Boumalne Dades – Tinghir – Todra Gorge – Merzouga

After breakfast, continue the journey toward the Sahara. Along the way, stop in the oasis town of Tinghir and take a short walk through the Todra Valley and its impressive gorge, where 300-meter cliffs tower on each side.
Later, pass through Erfoud and Rissani, two towns rich in desert culture and fossil history. Arrive in Merzouga, where a camel caravan awaits to take you across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi during sunset.
