After meeting you, we will start our day trip from Marrakech to the scenic Imlil Valley, located approximately 64 km south of the city. The journey takes you through the foothills of the majestic High Atlas Mountains, where the landscape transforms into a dramatic mix of rocky peaks, lush valleys, and traditional Berber villages. Upon arrival in Imlil, the end of the tarmac road, you’ll be greeted by your guide and muleteer for an exciting exploration of this charming mountain region.

Imlil is a popular starting point for trekkers and adventurers aiming to conquer Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa. However, whether you’re an avid trekker or simply looking to experience the beauty of the mountains, you can choose to explore the surrounding trails on foot or by mule. The trek begins with a visit to the nearby village of Aremd, a traditional Berber settlement where you can get a glimpse of local life. The trail offers stunning panoramic views of the valley of Riraya, with its terraced fields and walnut groves nestled between towering peaks.

If you’re visiting on a Saturday, don’t miss the opportunity to explore the Asni Berber market, a lively gathering where locals sell fresh produce, livestock, and traditional crafts. You can also walk up to the nearby Kasbah, an ancient fortress offering sweeping views of the surrounding mountains.

After a day of exploration, enjoy a traditional lunch in one of the local Berber houses, where you’ll have the chance to savor authentic Moroccan dishes made from locally sourced ingredients. Following lunch, you will return to Imlil, where your vehicle will be waiting to take you back to Marrakech, arriving by evening.
